The city’s capital improvement program is where the biggest promises live — stormwater fixes, road projects, parks, fire stations — and it’s also where they’re hardest to follow. The budget book publishes each project on its own page, which is fine for looking up one project and useless for questions like “what’s the biggest unspent pot in my district?”
This page puts the whole program in one place: every project line the city carries, its FY2027–31 five-year plan, and its life-to-date budget against what’s actually been spent. Search it, filter by department or council district, sort by any dollar column, and click a project for its full plan by fund and its year-by-year spending history. Filtered views and individual projects are linkable — the address bar updates as you go, so you can share exactly what you’re looking at.

A few notes on the data: the source is the FY2027 recommended budget’s Capital Project Detail Report — a snapshot, not a live feed, and the numbers will change when council adopts the budget this fall (we’ll refresh the page then). The table deliberately includes more than the budget book shows. Greyed-out rows are older projects still on the city’s books with money spent or remaining but no page in this year’s book. Rows without a project code are program-level buckets — pots like “Bridge and Seawall” that carry five-year dollars without being a single cataloged project. The two checkboxes in the filters let you narrow to just the book’s projects or just lines with FY2027–31 dollars. Life-to-date figures run through the snapshot date shown below the table.
